Ben Affleck's distasteful Hollywood sexual harassment joke

After apologising last month for previously groping a TV star, Ben Affleck has now made a questionable joke alluding to the Hollywood sexual assault situation in a new MTV UK interview.

In a video clip, Ben Affleck was chatting about his new superhero film Justice League with his co-stars Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Ezra Miller, Henry Cavill and Jason Momoa.

The cast were asked if they could pick any character to join the cast for a sequel.

"Black Canary," the 45-year-old responded. "We could use more women."

Some of the other cast members agreed suggesting Supergirl or Zatanna could join the ranks of the Justice League.

"What would you get up to if you had Supergirl or [anyone else] joining the team," the MTV interview, Sophie Boyden, asked.

Ray was the initial cast member to answer the question saying having more women "would just create a different dynamic".

"Are you following the news at all?" Ben interjected jokingly hinting to the recent sexual harassment claims which have rocked Hollywood.

His comment left a slightly awkward silence from his fellow cast mates.

Some fans even noticed the other cast members' reactions to the joke.

Ignoring Ben's comment, Ray stepped in to finish his initial answer to the question believing that adding more women into the mix would "add a different flavour" to the current cast.
