Pink denies cringing at AMAs: 'I am in awe of Christina'

Pink has shut down claims she was cringing at Christina Aguilera's Whitney Houston tribute at this year's American Music Awards.

The 38-year-old took to social media to slam fans' claims she was unimpressed by Christina's performance.

"Christina f**king killed it tonight for one of our favourite singers ever," she wrote on Twitter.

"I am in awe of Christina's talent," Pink added. "Show the clip where I'm in tears, you negative Nancy's."

Many thought Pink grimaced during Christina's Whitney tribute at the AMAs.




However, others came to the defence of Pink claiming people were trying to "start beef between artists".




The pair have a history of feuding with one another after they both butted heads over which lines were whose on the hit Moulin Rouge song Lady Marmalade.

Back in August, Pink confirmed she had "made amends" with the 36-year-old.
