Kim Kardashian 'parts ways' with long-time assistant
Kim Kardashian has reportedly "parted ways" with her long-time assistant Stephanie Shepherd.
People magazine reports that things just weren't working out since Stephanie took on more responsibility in the company.
"She was a good assistant but when Stephanie wanted to transition into a larger role with Kim's brand and businesses, it just didn't work," a source told the publication.
"Kim gave her the chance but after a short period of time it became clear Stephanie just didn't have the knowledge to take on a role like that," the insider added. "Kim made an executive decision to part ways."
Stephanie is reportedly still "friendly with the other sisters" but relations with Kim have soured and the pair "aren't really speaking".
The former dancer had been working for the 37-year-old since 2013 and had recently been made the COO of her company Kardashian West Brands.
Earlier this year, Stephanie gushed about the family in an interview with Refinery29, saying she has, on many occasions, been mistaken as a Kardashian.
She revealed in the interview she goes out with Kendall and Kylie on the regular, she talks to Khloe about anything and she often gets mistaken for Kourtney.
“People always think we’re either lesbians, because we’re always together, or that I am Kourtney," Stephanie said. "I guess because we look alike and have similar style.”
Stephanie also gushed about her friend and reported former boss Kim in the interview.
“I would truly take a bullet for her,” she confessed back in May.
According to Page Six, the tell-all interview did not sit well with Kim and their relationship "never recovered" from it.
