Rebel Wilson breaks down about legal battles
Rebel Wilson has broken down when opening up about her defamation case against Bauer Media.
The Pitch Perfect 3 star has given a tell-all interview with Melissa Doyle on Channel Seven's Sunday Night. Watch the preview above.
"They were just absolutely brutal and bullied me into the ground," Rebel says.
The 37-year-old believes it "definitely was" an intentional takedown.
"They have no idea how brutally hard it is," Rebel says tearing up. "Yes I am an actress and I am in the public eye, but I'm a human being."
She won the landmark lawsuit against magazine publisher Bauer Media back in June.
The actress sued Woman's Day and OK! for defamation after they published stories accusing her of lying about her name, age and childhood.
The judge awarded Rebel with $4.5 million in damages back in October, but Bauer have since appealed the decision.
The full Rebel Wilson interview with Sunday Night is due to air this Sunday on 26th November.
