Lisa Wilkinson's tribute to Princess Diana after royal engagement

Former Today host Lisa Wilkinson is overjoyed by the news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's engagement, sharing three personal messages of congratulations for the lovebirds on social media.

In her posts, the TV presenter remembered Harry's late mother, Princess Diana, paying a poignant tribute to the woman who was missing out on the wedding hysteria the rest of the world was revelling in.

Lisa, who is a mum of three, tenderly remembered Di amongst the wedding fuss, commenting, "How proud would she be..." alongside an old photo of her with a young Harry and his older brother, Prince William.
