Richard Wilkins' new girlfriend Veronica attends ARIAs in naked dress

They may not be nominated for an award, but Richard Wilkins and new girlfriend Veronica Burmeister, were certainly turning heads on the ARIA Awards red carpet on Tuesday.

There was something of a 'who's that girl' moment when the loved-up couple hit the red carpet, namely because of Veronica's daring choice of dress.

The 50-year-old wowed the crowd in a revealing embroidered gown with a completely sheer skirt.

After months of speculation that the pair were dating, the TODAY show host, 63, and his new love only went public with their relationship recently.

Her Twitter account reveals that around February this year, the pair started exchanging words when she left a personal note to the TV host.

Virginia was previously married to Morgan and Stanley investment banker Morgan Burmeister, with whom she shares three-children.

Another person who turned heads was Richard's son Christian who arrived with his friend Andrew Kelly.

The 22-year-old son made a statement wearing a black-and-yellow kilt and french braids, while Andrew wore pleated trousers and a smudged red lip.
