Selena Gomez confirms Justin Bieber romance
After weeks of keeping fans guessing and some recent PDA, Selena Gomez has confirmed it's definitely back on with Justin Bieber.
The 25-year-old singer and actress, whose renewed relationship with the Biebs comes after she recently ended her 10 month union with singer The Weeknd, told Billboard that she will always "cherish" the people who have left a lasting impression on her life.
"I'm 25. I'm not 18, or 19, or 20," Selena told the publication of her reconnecting with the Sorry singer. "I cherish people who have really impacted my life."
"So maybe before, it could have been forcing something that wasn't right. But that doesn't mean caring for someone ever goes away."
Jelena, as they have been affectionately nicknamed by their legion of fans, have had a long on/off relationship since 2010.
And despite recently unfollowing each other on social media, Selena insisted she and The Weeknd - born Abel Makkonen Tesfaye - ended their brief relationship as "best friends".
"Something that I'm really proud of is that there's such a true friendship [between me and The Weeknd]," she added.
"I truly have never experienced anything like that in my life. We ended it as best friends, and it was genuinely about encouraging and caring [for each other], and that was pretty remarkable for me."
But do "best friends" delete each other and erase any proof of their relationship? It seems like these besties do.
Selena's comments that she and the Starboy crooner ended on good terms comes after it was revealed The Weeknd has gone as far as deleting every photo of himself and Selena together off Instagram.
