Nicki Minaj's fairytale makeover in Christmas ad

Nicki Minaj is the shining star of the new H&M advert which has just been released to celebrate the upcoming holiday season.

The Anaconda singer is almost unrecognisable in the festive film, in which she plays a frumpy mum who transforms into a shimmering fairy in her daughter's imagination.

Grey's Anatomy actor Jesse Williams also stars in the advert, playing Nicki Minaj's hot hubby, much to our enjoyment.

The storyline follows their daughter who is unable to sleep, so Jesse heads to tell her a bedtime story at Nicki's instructions.

As he creates a fictional tale about a good world vs an evil one, viewers see into the little girl's imagination where Nicki Minaj and Jesse Williams both feature as characters in eye-catching costumes.

The feature-length advert shows a softer side to Nicki, who can usually be seen strutting her stuff in some sort of sexy ensemble.

We have to say, she gave us all the festive feels in this magical advert.
