Casey Donovan shares snaps before and after 23kg weight loss
Aussie singer Casey Donovan has taken to her Instagram to share a before and after snap of her weight-loss transformation.
The 29-year-old accompanied the pictures with an incredible reflection on how she lost the 23 kilos in 15 weeks, admitting her journey to keep motivated hasn't been easy.
"When motivation lacks, I look at how far I’ve come and I don’t ever want to go back to that girl in the white singlet!," she shared to her followers on Sunday.
She continued: "Weight-loss coaching has changed my life not only in shape and size but my mindset. It’s not an easy road, (I’m not going to lie) but the payoff is so rewarding!".
Speaking to Woman's Day last week, the Aussie star revealed that swapping fast-food meals and carbs for a high-protein diet and walking thousands of steps per day assisted with her dramatic weight-loss.
The singer also spoke to Be in September, saying that she had been "doing [her] very best" to get into shape for summer, while still being "fat shamed all the f*****g time".
"I’m doing my very best but you know it’s hard," the singer explained about managing her fitness and diet regime while hitting the road to promote her new music.
"I get fat shamed all the f*****g time," she revealed to Be. "I get called out for being a bigger girl than I do for the colour of my skin."
