Alex Nation 'engaged' to girlfriend Maegan Luxa
Three months after they went public with their relationship, Alex Nation and girlfriend Maegan Luxa are apparently celebrating their engagement.
While NW reports the couple told close family and friends of their happy news last week, the mag adds the 26-year-old was spotted flaunting her new bling over the weekend while enjoying a day out with Maegan, 31.
"It's a stunning pear-shaped diamond ring," an insider close to the lovebirds told the publication. "It seems soon to a lot of people, but when you know, you know!"
The insider adds that it was Maegan's bond with Alex's seven-year-old son Elijah that made the former Bachelor winner see her relationship was "for keeps".
"Maegan, Alex and Lijey are the cutest little family - they do everything together," the source added.
"They can't believe they found love in such a spectacular and unexpected way."
However one person that might not be celebrating the couple's happy news is Alex's ex Richie Strahan, who is said to be still recovering from his split with the model and radio host.
"Richie never proposed to Alex because she was constantly telling him she just wanted to 'enjoy this chapter' after The Bachelor finished," the source added.
"She said they 'just weren't there yet'. And now only three months with Maegan she's planning her forever. It hurts!"
Despite presenting Alex with a diamond "promise ring" at the end of the 2016 season, the insider adds Richie is "devastated" that his fairytale life with Alex hasn't worked out.
Poor Richie, never mind though - plenty of fish in the sea.
