Katie Holmes has been spotted attending the opening of her rumoured boyfriend Jamie Foxx's sunglass launch in New York, further fuelling speculation the pair are in fact an item.

The 38-year-old actress looked stunning at the glitzy Privé Revaux event, wearing a fitted strapless black dress paired with a vintage pale-pink coat.

Jamie Foxx, 49, wore a stylish grey pea-coat with black jeans and a black cap and black t-shirt.

While the actors did not take any photos together or arrive together, it's been a while since they've been seen at same event, leaving fans guessing what their relationship status is.

The secretive pair were last seen holding hands on a beach in Malibu back in early September celebrating Labor Day walking the beach and hugging on their beachfront patio.

For years the couple have been dodging rumours that they are an official item.

They have gone to great lengths to keep their relationship a secret after claims Tom Cruise included as clause in their divorce settlement banning her from a public relationship within a five year period.

Katie and Jamie for first romantically linked in August of 2013, a year after her very public divorce to Tom Cruise.
