Roxy Jacenko back on her feet after breast reconstruction surgery

Roxy Jacenko revealed exclusively to Be last month, that she was planning to have reconstructive surgery after her breast implants had been left damaged by cancer treatment.

Now it seems the PR maven has gone under the knife as she's been sharing snaps battling housework - complete with medical drainage tubes.

The brave businesswoman clearly hasn't let having invasive surgery slow her down as she was seen taking part in a hectic festive celebration with family and friends.

Taking to Instagram, the 37-year-old shared a series of snaps with her being active whilst clearly recovering from an operation.

Over the weekend, Roxy was also pictured out and about with her surgical bag whilst carrying errands.

Previously, she'd told Be that she needed to replace her original implants from 12 years ago after radiation treatment had badly affected them.

"I had breast implants when I was 24, at school I was always called sultana tits," she divulged.

"I had my boobs done and they’ve been fine for 12 years," she continued, before explaining that six weeks of daily radiation treatment resulted in her being affected by "capsular contracture, whereby basically the implant hardens and/or can ripple".

Capsular contracture often occurs when internal scar tissue forms a tight capsule around a breast implant.

Roxy, who was treated for breast cancer following a diagnosis in mid 2016, also said her decision to go under the knife came after she had a second breast cancer scare in October this year.

"The reason the second scare came about, we didn’t actually know at the time, was that that capsule contracture of the breast implant was actually causing bumps so it wasn’t cancerous," she told Be.

Thankfully it seems Roxy is well and truly on the mend after getting the issue resolved.
