Exclusive: Zendaya reveals what it's really like to kiss Zac Efron
Zendaya has once again proved she is major #goals, as she locks lips with none other than Zac Efron in her new film The Greatest Showman.
When walking the red carpet at the movie's Sydney premiere on Wednesday night, the actress opened up about what it's like to kiss the former High School Musical hunk, and it's even better than we'd imagined.
Emphasising "it's not a normal kiss", the 21-year-old explained that the intimate moments between her and Zac's characters were very important in bringing their love story to life on screen.
"This kiss is very special not just because it’s two actors kissing," she said, adding, "it’s not a normal kiss".
"These two characters have gone through so much and this kiss symbolises a lot more than just kissing someone."
"In the context of the movie, it’s very brave and honestly dangerous. There’s something special about it in that way," she added.
The Greatest Showman is based on Hugh Jackman's character P. T. Barnum, who founded the Barnum & Bailey Circus in real life.
Zendaya plays Anne Wheeler, one of the trapeze artists who joins the circus and soon falls in love with Zac's character Phillip Carlyle, a business partner of Barnum's.
The Greatest Showman will hit cinemas in Australia on December 26.
