The actress who graduated from NIDA acting school in Sydney in 2015, has also starred in local television show Underbelly: Badness, as well as short film Green River: Part One.

And she was just about on the brink of international stardom, with another film role under her belt.

The US film's production crew took to Facebook last month, to address the actress' involvement in the car accident.

"We are in complete shock over this tragedy," read a statement published on the movie's official Facebook page.

"Sending all our love and prayers to Jessica Falkholt and her sister Annabelle at this terrible time."

Meanwhile another television role was in the pipeline for Jessica, to appear in Channel Nine drama Bite Club in 2018.

On Wednesday a spokesperson for St George Hospital advised Ms Falkholt passed away at 10.20 am.

Last month it was confirmed Jessica's younger sister Annabelle had died in hospital three days after their parents were killed in a horrific NSW south coast collision.

Both Jessica and Annabelle were passengers in their parents' car when it collided with another car on Boxing Day, on the Princes Highway, north of the Bendalong turnoff.

Witnesses pulled the girls from the wreckage as the vehicles were engulfed in flames.

The crash claimed both their parents, Lars Falkholt, 69, and Vivian Falkholt, 60, who died at the scene near Sussex Inlet.

The man behind the wheel of the other car, Craig Anthony Whitall, 50, was also killed when the vehicle crossed into the path of oncoming traffic.
