Nigella Lawson's reaction to sexual innuendo questions is everything

Nigella Lawson has slammed interviewer Hamish McDonald during an interview where he questioned her on her use of sexual innuendos in her cooking segments during an interview on The Project Tuesday night.

The Project co-host probed the British cook during her appearance, saying, “I was really intrigued to read you rejecting all of the analysis of your cooking shows,” he said.

"All these kinds of innuendo, you saying, 'I don't do it on purpose, it's not part of the plan,' But I've got some quotes."

Hamish then delivered some quotes to Lawson, "My empty vessels are ready to be loaded," he said.

"I adore the way it comes bulging over the rims," he continued leaving the audience and the rest of the panel laughing.

However all but one found it amusing with Nigella quick to bite back at the host.

“No, no, no, no, but why, why, tell me this ... why?” she yelled.

Clearly outraged she looks at the host with eyes like piercing daggers.

"You have a way of saying things," McDonald said, with his co-host interrupting, "Sorry his mind is in the gutter."

"I often don't get it, she said, "I need you to explain it to me."

Fans were quick to respond to the television segment with one saying, "Uh oh @hamishnews obviously didn’t do his research on @Nigella_Lawson. Well known she hates the innuendo questions #TheProjectTV."

Another posted, "@hamishNews hope you had fun talking to @Nigella_Lawson, cause that’ll be the last time she’ll come on @theprojecttv. Bit rude. #TheProjectTV."

Well we can agree it was a little awkward to watch...
