Could Matty J replace Bernard Tomic on I'm A Celeb?

Viewers were left on a cliffhanger last night as to whether Bernard Tomic would be staying in the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle or not.

But now Bachelor star Matty J has declared he is off to South Africa - where the show is filmed - suggesting he may well be entering the jungle.

A fact Channel Ten have refused to deny when speaking to Be, instead confirming "there are many more celebrity surprises to come for the campmates."

Despite having only just entered the jungle, tennis bad boy Tomic admitted on Monday night's show the experience was "not what [he] expected".

“There is no point in me being here anymore and wasting unnecessary time for myself,” the 25-year-old admitted.

And while he was going to sleep on his decision last night, there have been claims on Twitter that Bernard boarded a flight back to Sydney last night.

So, the timing for Matty J to be heading to South Africa is oddly coincidental.

However, the 30-year-old was travelling with his girlfriend Laura Byrne, so it may just be convenient timing for a holiday.

As Ten's spokesperson told us earlier, we'll have to stay tuned if we want to find out for sure.
