Anthony Mundine blasted for ‘sexist’ comments

Anthony Mundine has shared his thoughts on how women should dress on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and it hasn't gone down so well with viewers.

On Monday night's show, the controversial boxer said he doesn't think women should wear skirts above the knee.

The 42-year-old shared his thoughts will fellow campmate Jackie Gillies.

He justified his statement insisting it was to stop "other men lusting over your women."

When questioned by the Real Housewives of Melbourne star if his wife could wear a nice dress and pair of heels, Mundine said the skirt could not be "above the knees."

"She can wear a dress... not a short skirt, not a above the knees," he said. "That is just the way I am, it is the way I feel, the way I think."

Jackie further probed her campmate asking if he thinks it is right to tell what somebody should or should not do.

"For their own good," Mundine simply responded.

"You don't understand because you're not built like me, you wouldn't understand a man's point of view," he added. "You can't understand."

And, of course, Mundine's comments did not go unnoticed by viewers on Twitter.

Many slated him for his 'sexist' comments.

"Anthony Mundine is such a sexist pig, I hope one of the many women in camp punch him square in the face," one viewer wrote.

"Mundine is primitive in his sexist belief system - teach men to control their lust instead of telling women how to behave," another said.
