Kylie Jenner announces unusual baby name
Kylie Jenner has revealed her daughter's name and it's unique.
The star posted a sweet photo on Instagram of the baby girl captioned, "Stormi" with an angel emoji, revealing the name of her baby girl.
The 20-year-old gave birth to her first child with Travis Scott on February 1.
Many fans had suspected Kylie may have named her baby girl 'butterfly' due to a series of hints she had given.
Kylie and boyfriend Travis Scott had gotten matching butterfly tattoos and there were a number of butterfly appearances in her birth announcement video.
After keeping her pregnancy a secret for nine months, Kylie announced on Sunday she had given birth to a baby girl.
She took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message to her precious bundle of joy and explain why she kept her fans in the dark about her pregnancy.
Acknowledging her secrecy, Kylie said, "I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world."
She added that she 'needed to prepare' herself for the role of being a mother, and so decided to take a step back from the spotlight.
"I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how," she wrote.
"There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness."
Kylie also reflected on her pregnancy journey, saying it had been the 'most beautiful, empowering and life-changing experience' of her life, and she thanked her family and friends for their support.
"I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could," the post said.
"My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and I just couldn't wait to share this blessing. I've never felt love and happiness like this I could burst! Thank you for understanding."
