Roxy Jacenko has opened up about a dark time in her life when her weight plummeted to just 49kg, ahead of the release a new tanning range with Skinny Tan.
The PR queen looks sensational in a recent shoot she did for the brand, and told Be she can 'finally think straight' after a difficult year 'starving' herself and struggling with her weight.
"I was starving myself, it became a challenge that I didn't want to be defeated," Roxy said.
The 37-year-old revealed she 'had a fear of calories' until she realised she'd gone too far.
"When you can put a minty in your mouth, taste it, then spit it out in fear of the calories its time to make some serious changes," she said.

"My body now fits my frame [and] I am able to function normally," she told Be. "I was running on raw fish, green juice and literally air for a year."
Reflecting on her struggles, Roxy now realises her unhealthy eating habits were part pf her coping mechanism through a difficult time.
Her husband Oliver Curtis served a 12 month sentence in prison on an insider trading conviction, and while she was left to take care of their two children, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
"It was a coping mechanism for a bad position that I found myself in on many levels," she said. "I needed to work through it, which I did and am confident that I have come out on top!"
The blonde beauty is now happy with her more 'feminine' look.
"If my Roxy Tan shoot was 12 months ago there is a good chance I would of looked like a boy with balloons on my chest!" the PR maven joked.
Roxy certainly doesn't look like that now as the blonde bombshell posed up a storm for her raunchy shoot in a series of sexy swimsuits.
Roxy's Skinny Tan range Roxy Tan launches on Valentine's Day on skinnytan.com.au.
