Donald Trump calls Oprah Winfrey 'insecure'

Another day, another unwarranted rant on Twitter from President Donald Trump, and this time he has taken aim at Oprah Winfrey.

The former queen of daytime TV appeared on US show 60 Minutes and it seems Trump had a lot to say about it.

He blasted Oprah calling her 'insecure'.

"Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I know very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes," he wrote.

Oprah's questions to the panel were 'biased and slanted' and her facts were 'incorrect', according to Trump.

Many are hoping Oprah may be a rival for Trump in the 2020 presidential elections and even he is hoping for that outcome but only so he has the opportunity to 'expose' the 64-year-old.

"Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!" he said.

However, Oprah insisted she would not be running during her interview on 60 Minutes, so it may not be likely.

"I am actually humbled by the fact that people think that I could be a leader of the free world, but it's just not in my spirit," she admitted. "It's not in my DNA."

Following her incredibly moving speech at this year's Golden Globes, many were hoping Oprah may run for president.

Her acceptance speech for the Cecille B. DeMille Award gained her three standing ovations from the audience and reduced some to tears as she came out in full support of the Time's Up! campaign and spoke out against sexual harassment of women.

"For too long, women have not been heard or believed if they dare speak the truth to the power of those men," Oprah said in her inspiring speech. "But their time is up."

The 63-year-old went on to praise all women who chose to brave coming out and saying 'Me Too' and praised 'every man who chooses to listen'.

"I want all the girls watching here and now to know that a new day is on the horizon," the legendary daytime host boldy stated as she received a standing ovation.

"And when that new day final dawns," she continued, "it will be because of a lot of magnificent women, many of whom are right here in this room tonight, and some pretty phenomenal men, fighting hard to make sure that they become the leaders who take us to the time when nobody ever has to say 'Me Too' again!"

If Oprah did run for president, Trump wouldn't stand a chance.
