Skater Tony Hawk spotted staying at QT Bondi
Legendary pro skater Tony Hawk has been spotted - skateboard in hand - leaving QT Bondi this week.
The 49-year old had been staying at the high-end hotel apartments just across from Bondi Beach with his family during the annual 2018 Bowl-A-Rama skating competition which came to an end last weekend.
Held annually at the iconic Bondi Beach, the Bowl-A-Rama competition sees all-time and current Pro skaters from all around the world compete to defend their title and celebrate skateboarding culture.
Tony was set to compete in the Masters Division after already qualifying from his efforts during last year's event.
And the multi-time world champion certainly put on a show for the hundreds of fans that gathered, as he took out the title once again in Sunday’s final.
Although skating wasn't the only thing Tony got up to during their Sydney trip.
The Hawk family had also enjoyed a water taxi ride across Sydney Harbour and a snorkelling session at Manly's scenic Shelly Beach.
