Vicky Pattison 'hated herself' for having sex on TV
Former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison broke down in tears on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! as she admitted she 'hated herself' for having sex on television.
She starred on Geordie Shore from 2011 to 2014 and like many of her co-stars including Gaz Beadle and Charlotte Crosby, her drunken hookups were aired on TV.
"I hated myself on Geordie Shore," she admitted on Monday night's I'm A Celeb episode. "I hated the person that I ended up becoming and I have no one to blame but myself."
It was down to the 'pressure' to perform to the cameras, the 30-year-old revealed.
"You are under an awful lot of pressure to act a certain way, to constantly out-do the outrageousness that's happening around you," Vicky said.
Reflecting on how she was during those years, Vicky admitted she 'wasn't proud' of herself.
During her three years on the show, Vicky had a few dalliances including a fling with co-star Jay Gardner and in season two became engaged to other co-star Ricci Guarnaccio.
The reality star revealed her relationship with Ricci was 'volatile and toxic' and even with him she 'never really felt comfortable' having sex on camera.
Her behaviour and antics on the show affected her relationship with her mum too.
"My mum, she never really forgave us I don't think," she said. "She was very disappointed quite rightly."
However, the pair 'have managed to rectify' their relationship following Vicky's exit from the show.
It seems the former Geordie Shore star has put those years behind her and is now engaged to her partner John Noble.
