Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. That is unless, of course, you're Lindsay Lohan.
The troubled actress has found herself in the midst of yet another Jailhouse Rock, after fresh reports claim that inmates at the Los Angeles Century Regional Detention Facility are frustrated with Lindsay Lohan's A-list treatment.
"She's not treated like if it was anyone else going to jail," Maria Medina, a relative of an inmate at Lohan's jail told People.com. "Like, if they even want to bring her new clothes or bring her anything, they put the whole facility on lockdown. It happens all the time."
"All the inmates are sick of Lindsay," Medina continued. "It's almost like Lindsay Lohan's here, but she's not. Like if she even moves, they put the whole facility on lockdown. For example, just yesterday [Friday], Lindsay had to go to the mini-clinic, and the whole place was on lockdown again."
The claims have surfaced just days after The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department rubbished reports that the 24-year-old was the recipient of favourable treatment, insisting that she is being managed 'like any other inmate' during her 90-day stint behind bars.
"It's business as usual. Lindsay's getting no special treatment," said LA Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.
According to a UK tabloid, Lohan was placed in isolation Friday following a "hysterical fit".
"She is in with the killers and she has only been let out for hour-long breaks, and during those she was locked down to a table," newly-released prisoner Cheryl Presser told the Daily Mirror.
" Lindsay got put on lockdown," Presser continued, "Some of us got two hours to go to the yard, or the TV room, Lindsay was on total lockdown. She had a hysterical fit, crying and yelling so she got put in isolation."
Presser also claims that despite reports to the contrary, Lohan is struggling in the slammer.
"Lindsay would lie there shivering all night, crying and trying to cover her face with her hands," said Presser, "Her wailing was keeping everyone awake."
Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail after she failed to attend more than nine of her court ordered alcohol education classes, the result of a 2007 DUI arrest.
The actress is expected to serve just two weeks of her three month sentence behind bars due to overcrowding, although Whitmore maintains that he's unaware of any new release date.
