Vanessa Hudgens is the most recent celebrity to have had personal photos taken from her email account and distributed over the internet by the group.

The FBI is conducting an investigation, and has reported that the ring can be traced back to one person, who is linked to the hacking of over 50 celebrities' personal accounts and electronic devices.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the group stole photos and videos from the email accounts of Scarlett Johansson, Miley Cyrus, Ali Larter, Busy Phillipps, Emma Caulfield, Addison Timlin and Renee Olstead.

It has also been reported that the mobile phone and other electronic devices of Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and Christina Aguilera were hacked into.

Law enforcement sources report that the primary intention of the group is thought to be public humiliation, with money not a factor.

It has not been confirmed as to whether the ring-leader of the group is known by these celebrities, or whether the individual is connected to them in any way.

All of the stars targeted are female.
