Angelina Jolie has taken her daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt back to her birthplace, and it was to officially open the Shiloh Wildlife Sanctuary.
The pair jetted off to Africa earlier this month for the opening, and according to The Daily Mail, Ange gave the foundation a whopping $2 million to kick start the sanctuary back in 2011.
The foundation's main cause is to give animals a second chance and to shield them from poachers.
"Her face lit up when she saw the sanctuary for the first time," an insider told PEOPLE.
"The name was a surprise to her and she was beaming. She and her brothers and sisters moved around very quietly as the newly rescued elephants were still settling in," they told the outlet.
The family first visited in 2011, where they then made the generous donation.
The sanctuary now looks after animals like elephants, rhinos and cheetahs.
