Tom Cruise Goes Plane Crazy in First Teaser for 'Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation'
How does Tom Cruise top hanging from a massive skyscraper in Dubai? How about clutching to the side of a moving plane, of course!
The first teaser for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation (watch it above), the fifth entry in Cruise’s mega-franchise, has hit the internet, bringing with it the promise of more shadowy enemies and several death-defying stunts, including one in which the 52-year-old star hangs on to the side of a huge military jet.
The minute-long glimpse opens with a shirtless and shackled Ethan Hunt (Cruise) using some high-flying kicks to KO some bad guys and make an escape (it’s a scene reminiscent of Scarlett Johansson’s hands-free escape from 2012′s The Avengers).
Cruise gets loose with help from Hercules star Rebecca Ferguson -- the latest addition to the Mission franchise -- who plays an operative helping Hunt solve the mystery of "the Syndicate," a nation of rogue agents who seem just as dangerous as Ethan and his action-addled associates, including returning stars Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Jeremy Renner.

Also packed into this brief tease: Motorcycle chases, explosions, and some Pegg quips, all topped off by one of the most ambitious stunts the series has ever seen, as a nattily attired Cruise gets cozy with a jumbo military aircraft as it takes off.
Last year, British paparazzi caught a few shots of Cruise doing the stunt himself -- proving that, when it comes to physical grunt-work, Cruise still has all the right moves.
