Yahoo Lifestyle Everyone’s Swooning Over Tom Hardy’s Mad Max Body Double
The internet is currently getting weak at the knees over this 35-year-old New Zealander thanks to his work as Tom Hardy’s body double in Mad Max: Fury Road.

Photos posted on Jacob’s Instagram show him with Tom on the film’s Namibian set in matching costumes and it’s really tricky to tell them apart. The two seem to best buds off screen too with Jacob sharing photos and videos of them fooling around off camera.
Like many Kiwis, Jacob got his big movie break on the Lord of the Rings films where he worked as a stuntman. He’s since worked on Avatar and The Hobbit, but it’s his work as Tom Hardy’s stunt double on Mad Max: Fury Road that’s really drawn all the attention.

He’s now Hardy’s go-to-stunt guy and has doubled for the taciturn action star on Alejandro G Iñárritu’s The Revenant. That particular role in the Birdman director’s Western required Tom and Jacob to grow matching beards (below), making the pair look even more like twins.
Tom and Jacob have recently been snapped together on the London set of the Kray twins biopic Legend Hardy is playing both Ronnie and Reggie, so his stunt double has been working overtime filling in as the opposite twin to whichever Hardy is playing at the time
If George Miller’s plan for further Mad Max sequels comes to fruition, we can expect this relationship to continue for many years to come. Yay!
