Audience Walks Out Of Daniel Radcliffe’s "Farting Corpse Movie"

The film, Swiss Army Man, from directorial duo Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert stars Radcliffe as a corpse, who somehow strikes up a friendship with a lost man, played by Paul Dano.

Variety report that the 'magical realist' film opens with Dano finding Radcliffe’s body washed up on a beach - only for the corpse to come to life and break wind.

Nor does the low humour end with fart gags, as apparently there is also a running joke about Radcliffe’s corpse maintaining an erection.

Reportedly hundreds of people had to be turned away from the sold-out screening on Friday afternoon - only for a large amount of the audience to walk out before the end.

This would seem to be another big step in Radcliffe’s continuing efforts to escape the shadow of Harry Potter, in the wake of such films as The Woman in Black, Horns and Kill Your Darlings.

As for what attracted him to Swiss Army Man, the 26 year old actor told the Sundance audience (those who were still there) that "the chance to play a dead guy in this context was too much fun to pass up."
