Gal Gadot’s $300K paycheck angers fans

Wonder Woman is a huge hit, having raked in over $US500 million in just three weeks at the box office.

But word on the street is that its leading lady Gal Gadot’s paycheck doesn’t reflect the superhero sized profits and people are upset!

According to The Daily Dot, the role of Wonder Woman has earned Gal $300K.

Of course that figure is not to be sniffed at – except when you compare it to her male co-stars.

The same report details Iron Man star, Robert Downey Jr. as earning around $55 million for Captain America: Civil War, and also says Henry Cavill took home a cool $US14 million for Man of Steel.

Despite playing a similar starring role, the apparent inequality of her earnings has angered Gal's fans on social media.

One commented: "Not even Wonder Woman can get equal pay #equality".

With another saying: “WTF $300,000!? She deserves way more than that. The gender pay gap is real.”
