Will Michelle Rodriguez quit Fast & Furious?

Michelle Rodriguez has appeared in five Fast & Furious films, but it seems she might not be appearing in any more as she’s threatened to leave the lucrative franchise.

The actress took to social media following the digital release of the eighth movie, Fate of the Furious, to share her thoughts on the apparent lack of women in the flick.

The post said: “F8 is out digitally today, I hope they decide to show some love to the women of the franchise on the next one, or I might just have to say goodbye.”

Michelle has played Letty, the wife of Vin Diesel’s character since 2001, but that doesn’t seem enough to stop her from walking if the females aren’t included more.

She did add: “It’s been a good ride and I’m grateful for the opportunity the fans and studio have provided over the years.”

F8 saw the introduction of two new female roles, with Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron joining the cast.

It smashed international records when it pulled in $US432.3 million in its opening weekend, more than $100million more than the previous holder Jurassic World.
