A couple of teaser trailers for It have already dropped, but we’re going to go ahead and say that this full two-minute trailer is the creepiest.

The trailer kicks off with a voiceover saying: “When you’re a kid, you think the universe revolves around you and that you’ll always be protected.

“You don’t know the monsters are getting closer until it’s too late.”

We then see little Georgie (Jackson Robert Scott) chasing his paper boat down the street where it disappears down a drain.

And thanks to the Stephen King novel and the 1989 miniseries, we bloody well know how that ends for the poor kid.

It is at this point that we hear Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) speaking for the first time, and to be quite honest we could have done without that. Shudder!

We’re then treated to more footage of the Loser’s Club, led by Georgie’s brother Bill (Jaeden Lieberher), as the teens investigate the mysterious events and disappearances occurring in their small town of Derry, Maine.

As the gang get more caught up in Derry’s disturbing history, shape-shifting murderous creep Pennywise just won’t leave them alone.
