Fans love Kevin Spacey's replacement in Ridley Scott flick
Movie director Ridley Scott had to re-shoot Kevin Spacey's scenes in his latest flick, All The Money in the World after the allegations of sexual misconduct emerged against him.
Now fans have confirmed this was the right decision as they take to social media to praise the disgraced Oscar winner's replacement, Christopher Plummer.
Playing Getty in the crime thriller based on John Pearson's 1995 book Painfully Rich: The Outrageous Fortunes and Misfortunes of the Heirs of J. Paul Getty, it also stars the Greatest Showman's and hot dad Mark Wahlberg.
It's thought that the cost of reshooting Spacey's scenes comes in at a hefty $103 million, so no doubt Sony will be hoping to recoup their cash with their visual telling of this true story about the world's richest man at the time.
Judging from the reactions on social media, it seems Ridley has erased Spacey rather effortlessly.
Really enjoyed All The Money In The World, a thriller about people who live detached from reality being confronted with it. Plummer easily blows away the ghost of Spacey. Williams excellent.

And of course, it's almost impossible to talk about All the Money in the World without discussing Scott's herculean efforts to scrub Kevin Spacey from the film less than a month prior to its release. The final edit is so flawless it's honestly kind of awe-inspiring.

All the Money In the World is good
Great pacing and character work
I honestly couldn't see Kevin Spacey fitting that role
Plumber was perfect for the character
Honestly glad that recast had to happen despite the reasoning— Daniel C-137 (@WickedD365) January 3, 2018
Despite 88-year-old Canadian Oscar-winner Christopher Plummer having to re-film all the scenes just a month before its release, he admitted in an interview with AAP that he relished the rush.
“It was actually fun, believe it or not,” he told the publication, when talking about the hectic nine day schedule to do-over more than 400 scenes.
