First look at the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle movie

When it was announced last month there is due to be a Lifetime movie about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's romance, excitement hit peak levels.

Filming for Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance began last week and the actors playing the royal couple have now given us a first look into life on the set of the flick.

Parisa Fitz-Henley, who plays Meghan, shared a sweet snap with her co-star and on-screen love Murray Fraser, who plays Harry.

"Sweet dreams to you. Love, #HarryAndMeghan #ARoyalRomance @Lifetimetv #MurrayFraser Day 1 #gingerlove," the actress captioned the photo.

The movie is set to chronicle Harry and Meghan's relationship from when they first met, to the crazy media storm that hit when their romance was first revealed to the public. All leading up to their eventual engagement.

The movie is also set to touch on the American actress' life as a divorcée.

Just like William & Kate: The Movie, which chronicled the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's courtship, aired before their royal wedding, the Harry and Meghan film is expected to broadcast before their nuptials on May 19, 2018.

Wills and Kate's movie, which was released just 10 days before they wed, didn't exactly receive rave reviews.

The Daily Mirror described the flick as "royally ridiculous" and The Guardian dubbed it as "awful, toe-curlingly, teeth-furringly, pillow-bitingly ghastly".

Whatever those reviews were, we have high hopes for this epic love story.

No doubt it's the same for all major royal fans.
