This Love Actually age gap can't be real

Everyone knows the film Love Actually, it's a classic Christmas film which fills you with, well... love.

But there's a fact about the film which may shock you and that is the age gap between two of the characters.

Keira Knightley played the role of Julia who got caught up in a love triangle between her husband and his best friend.

And then everyone will remember the baby-faced Sam, played by Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who was battling through the pain of his first love, Joanna.

You would assume the age gap between Keira and Thomas would be around 10 to 15 years.

But that estimation is very, very incorrect.

There's only five years between the pair. That's right, five.

In November 2003, when the film premiered, Keira was 18-years-old and Thomas was a young teen at age 13.

Yup, we were (and still are) shocked too.
