When asked if he preferred selling out Madison Square Garden three times or losing his virginity, Ed responded: "Probably selling out Madison Square Garden three times... [Losing my virginiy is] a benchmark in my life, but it wasn’t the best thing I've ever done."

The pair are close friends, and Ed spilled on what fans might not know about the country star: "She's a massive 'Law and Order' fan. Or is it CSI? It's one of them - on a continuous loop in the house."

When asked about the crazy gossip that accompanies his songwriting, Ed said, "I just think it's best if I keep quiet and they keep quiet."

When asked if he sees himself as a sex symbol, Ed responded: "I wouldn't say that. I think men with guitars who sing sensitive songs will just always have that sort of potential." Aww.

The 23-year-old confessed he lives his life by a Bill Cosby quotes. "'The key to failure is to try and please everyone'. People say, 'This is my favourite song. You should write another song like that.' At the end of the day, f*ck them. Be selfish. Why bother to please everyone? Please yourself. The rest will follow." Wise words, Ed!
