Justin Bieber has just cancelled the remainder of his Purpose World Tour and his Beliebers aren't happy!

In a statement issued to E! the singer announced the last 14 dates would be axed "due unforeseen circumstances" but assured fans with tickets to the affected dates would recieve a full refund.

"Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them," the official statement read. "He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months."

Understandably, the news has shattered the hearts of Bieber fans who had been excitedly looking forward to seeing their future bae/idol on stage.

Later the singer issued somewhat of an apology, captured in a video obtained by TMZ.

"Everything's fine," he firstly told a photographer during a beachside stroll, before adding "I’ve been on tour for two years".

Explaining he's going to spend his time off "just resting, getting some relaxation", he then said: "I love you guys. I think you guys are awesome. Sorry for anybody who feels disappointed or betrayed, it’s not my heart or anything. Have a blessed day".

The "Despacito" singer was also spotted out for a hike with a mystery brunette.

And though we are definitely not medical experts, we can't help noticing Biebs doesn't look very sick or sad (or any other reason he may have pulled out whilst on the home stretch and broken a thousand hearts!).

In fact, as he strolled shirtless through the Hollywood Hills he looked... HAPPY?!?!

This comes after TMZ reported the musician was "just over it."

Luckily, there are some fans who have managed to put their feelings aside and #prayforjustin.

To be fair, the huge tour kicked off on March 9, 2016 in Canada. Maybe Justin just needs a break?
