Jungle romance brewing between Simone Holtznagel and Josh Gibson
Sparks have been flying between Simone Holtznagel and Josh Gibson on I’m a Celebrity… Get me out of Here! since day one, and now even Simone’s mum has weighed in on the growing romance.
Model Simone, 24, and retired AFL champ Josh, 33, were both single went entering the jungle and speculation has been rife since the start of the series on Channel Ten.
Now it seems Josh has already won over Simone mum, who has given him her tick of approval, revealing her daughter looks for a guy who is ‘tall, funny and honest’.
“He is easy on the eye,” Margaret Holtznagel told News Corp.
But she said she would still need to meet the former Hawthorn player.
“I would need to get to know him better first. Josh would need to get approval from Simone’s dad and sisters too.”
The pair have been close on the reality show since the first episode where Josh stepped up to carry Simone over a rocky outcrop.
Just five days into the show their flirt fest continued when Josh asked someone to for a back massage and Simone was very quick to put her hand up.
Even actress Kerry Armstrong and comedian Fiona O'Loughlin have gotten in on the action, with Fiona even trying to play cupid behind the scenes.
"There is so much going on between Josh and Simone... in my head. I'm hoping for it... dreaming for it," Fiona said on the show.
I’m a celeb host Julia Morris couldn’t help but speculate about the possibility of a romance either saying there was ‘undeniable heat’ between the pair.
“So much so that the Docteur (Chris Brown) and I are thinking of applying for our marriage celebrant’s licence so we can secretly marry them in a trial,” she said.
