Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Madonna and More Celebs Participate in 2017 Women's March Anti-Trump Rally
2017 started off with a bang and it’s not slowing down yet. Friday Donald Trump took over the Presidency of the United States and Saturday more than 1 million women nationwide participated in the Women’s march, a protest against President Trump.
Among those million were many of our favorite celebs, Amy Schumer, America Ferrera, Cher, Katy Perry, Chelsea Handler … you name it and she was probably there. Girl Power ran through Washington DC like wildfire and many of the leading ladies taking part in the protest posted social media pics and videos to document the historic day.
If you didn’t know this is the first year the Women’s March on Washington took place. Sisterhood of the traveling Pants star Amber Tamblin took multiple Insta Pics, one was with actress Ellen page, and her former co-star and friend America Ferrera gave one kick ass speech.
“It’s been a heart-wrenching time to be both a woman and an immigrant in this country. Our dignity, our character, our rights have all been under attack.” Another very outspoken star in attendance was Madonna, but that’s no surprise because she’s famous for breaking social barriers!
Madge wasn’t playing nice during her speech and was so enveloped with emotion she dropped the ‘F’ bomb on live television. In fact she dropped the ‘F’ bomb not once, but multiple times! And she couldn’t have been more proud of herself, saying: “And to our detractors who insist this march would never add up to anything
