This morning, the internet was alight with rumours that Miranda Kerr had been dropped from Victoria’s Secret – something that the lingerie label has quickly denied via a statement, according to News Limited.

US Magazine had reported that the Aussie supermodel was getting ‘her wings clipped’ with her three year, $US1m contract not up for renewal. A source was quoted as saying that Kerr had a "difficult reputation".

But Victoria's Secret has moved quick to deny the claim that Kerr is difficult to work with, and she remains still on the brand's books.

Kerr's rep has passed on a statement from VS boss Ed Razek which said: "Miranda Kerr is one of the best models in the history of the business - and easily one of the most popular. She is also a consummate professional. Any rumours to the contrary are simply untrue."

VS President Ed Razek continued: "While her international commitments have kept her away from us more than we'd like over the past few years, she will always be an Angel to me.

"In fact, I've already invited her to walk the runway in this year's fashion show and, happily, she's agreed."

Earlier this year Australian retailer David Jones did not resign the model after she reportedly demanded a “massive” contract and had too many international commitments.
