Yahoo Lifestyle Coco Rocha Empathises With Kendall Jenner Over Backstage Bullying

It might look like a glamorous day job, but modeling isn't all it's cracked up to be according to Coco Rocha.
The supermodel, who's expecting her first child next year, told the HuffPost Live it had been disappointing to hear that Kendall Jenner was the victim of bullying backstage at New York Fashion Week.
"It is bad for the industry, and if that all did happen, that's really frustrating to hear," Rocha said. "You have to remember that during the shows, it is all very young girls. It's like high school. We breathe and eat and sleep together for two months, so it gets to a point where you're just overwhelmed, frustrated and tired, and I've had my own stories where yeah, it gets a little catty backstage."
Rocha warned younger models against catty behavior backstage, saying it inevitably gets back to clients.
"When [backstage cattiness] does happen, step back, breathe a minute, get out of the room - whatever you need to do," the model advised. "Because in the end, people are watching you under such a fine microscope. If you want the job, if you want to be respected in the industry, remember that even though you're a young girl, you have to act a little older and a little wiser."
Jenner reportedly had cigarettes put out in her drink by other models during New York Fashion Week who felt she didn't deserve a spot on the runway.
"The other models worked so hard to get a spot on the runway and didn't think it was fair that she was there," an insider told In Touch magazine. "They thought she was getting special treatment and just weren't okay with it. Models can be cruel, especially with someone new and entitled."
Jenner has remained tight lipped about the claims, with a source telling E! News, "If Kendall was bullied, she certainly isn't aware of it. She's too busy working hard and enjoying what she's doing."
