Mystery Celebrity Who Angered Anna Wintour in Met Gala Documentary Is Revealed

If you watched the trailer for upcoming Met Gala documentary The First Monday In May, you'll know Anna Wintour was seriously peeved about an unnamed celebrity always being on their phone at events.

Well now, it's been revealed exactly which mystery celebrity got on the wrong side of Wintour and we can't imagine it's a place anyone wants to be.

"I thought he wasn't coming," Anna says to a female worker in the documentary snippet.

Wintour's facial expressions turn to anger and she says: "Okay, can he not be on his cell phone the entire time?"

While the name was never actually said in the film, a source told Page Six the celebrity in question is actually Allison William's husband Ricky Van Veen.

Williams and Van Veen married late last year and are both good friends with Wintour and her daughter Bee Shaffer.

A spokeswoman for Vogue wouldn’t confirm the rumours, but said, “Ricky was a perfect guest, and we look forward to welcoming him back this year.”

Hopefully he leaves his phone at home this year.
