Lauren Conrad Is Making A TV Comeback For 'The Hills' Anniversary

Talk about a much welcome blast from the past.

It's been 10 years since The Hills first graced our TV screens (we know, we feel old too) and now the show's main protagonist Lauren Conrad has revealed that she will make her highly anticipated return to the reality TV realm.

LC as she was known on the teenage reality show - which followed a group of friends around LA as they tried to make it in the fashion world - took to her Twitter page last night to make the seriously exciting announcement to her fans that she will be teaming up with MTV for a The Hills anniversary special.

"Today is the 10th anniversary of The Hills! I am excited to announce that @MTV will premiere an anniversary special with me on Tuesday 8/2!," she wrote.

The 30-year-old fashion designer and author then went on to wrote a whole blog post explaining the big decision to revisit her very dramatic past and revealing she prepared for the 10-year anniversary by rewatching the very first episode ever of the show.

"Even though I know how it all ends, it was a little difficult watching my younger self struggle—I was in way over my head! It was odd watching all of us just starting out, with no idea what the future held (although, no one really could have prepared us for what the next few years would bring)," she wrote.

"Looking back, I am grateful for the incredible opportunity we were given to take part in this show. While it was hard at times to share my personal life (poor makeup choices and all) with the world; the experience taught me so much and forever altered my life and my outlook for the better."

There's no word yet on whether Lauren's arch nemesis Spencer Pratt or her former bestie Heidi Montag will make a return for the special, but the star did say that there will be a lot of behind-the-scenes coverage which we're very looking forward to.
