Selena Gomez stuns in first campaign for Louis Vuitton

When Selena Gomez appeared on the cover of Vogue Brazil in May with creative director of Louis Vuitton Nicolas Ghesquière, we knew there must have been something in the works between the pair.

And now our suspicions have been answered after Ghesquière posted an image to his Instagram account on Friday showing off the brand's Autumn campaign, which features none other than the Hands To Myself singer.

Gomez looks stunning in the shots, standing on the runway beside a plane in one picture wearing an ankle-skimming striped dress with the same leather boots she wore to the Met Gala.

In another snap the 23-year-old singer looks ready for winter as she appears in the campaign wearing an oversized fur hat, short leather jacket and a crop top.

Selena took to her Instagram page when the announcement was made, thanking Ghesquière and photographer Bruce Weber for including her in the campaign.

"Happy to finally share my first @louisvuitton campaign --thank you and love you @nicolasghesquiere @bruce_weber," Selena said.

Last week, Selena gave an emotional tribute to slain singer Christina Grimmie, dedicating a cover of Hillsong Worship’s ‘Transfiguration’ to the former The Voice contestant.

Gomez broke down in tears during the tribute to Grimmie, who was shot while signing autographs for fans at a Orlando, Florida.

“When she was 14, we met her and my parents and I signed her,” Gomez said to introduce the song. “One thing about Christina and her family is that she holds her faith so closely to her. And I think it’s not about a religion and it’s not about anything or good deeds."

"It’s just that she had faith, and I don’t really understand how this really happened, but I would like to dedicate this next song to her.”
