'This is cruelty': Kanye West slammed as model reportedly faints during his NYFW show

Kanye West has been slammed online after a model reportedly fainted due to exhaustion at his NYFW show.

The rapper showcased his Yeezy Season 4 collection on Roosevelt Island in New York on Wednesday and models were apparently forced to stand for three hours in blistering heat wearing leotards, army-style gear and painful heels.

One model reportedly fainted, while others sat down on the grass and some kicked off their painful heels halfway through the show.

Editors were apparently furious at the rapper and his team for how the models were being treated and Editorial Director of The Cut Stella Bugbee detailed the whole thing on her Twitter account.

Stella said she was watching as editors left in their droves but she felt obligated to stay for the sake of the models and to see what else they had to go through.

West arrived at the show with a smile to kick it off and three hours later it was over.

Hi wife Kim Kardashian arrived at the event and sat in the front row alongside her sister Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Tyga.

Anna Wintour was also at the show but did not look impressed as she was seated in the blistering sun, unlike Kim and her sisters, who were shaded under a balmy tree.
