Sarah Jessica Parker set to launch a collection of LBDs

Sarah Jessica Park is set to launch a little black dress collection next month.

The 51-year-old actress has revealed via social media she has designed a new fashion range called SJP LBD, which will be "proudly" made in America, and the 'Sex And The City' star has revealed her "first silhouette" will launch exclusively next month at the popular department store Bloomingdales.

The blonde beauty shared the news with a clip of her adorning a noir swing dress, which she paired with metallic pointed toe platforms, whilst spinning around in a revolving door to her Instagram account on Tuesday.

Sarah captioned the post: "Well folks, I've teased you long enough. It's time for the big reveal. Introducing: the SJP LBD," she said.

"A new collection of Little Black Dresses designed by me, all made proudly in the USA. Our first silhouette (a surprise!) will launch this October exclusively at @bloomingdales, with more designs to follow soon thereafter. X, SJ"

And Sarah - who has recently launched her third fragrance Stash - insists she isn't a big shopper despite having a huge collection of outfits and shoes, and is a "thoughtful" shopper because she tries to consider if she really needs a piece before buying it.

Speaking previously, she said: "I'm actually not a huge shopper. I mean I have more shoes now because I have a shoe collection, but even that I'm very thoughtful about. What do I really need? What can I borrow? What can I not live without? I've never, ever, ever, taken anything."

"In the case of 'Sex In The City', if we owned it then I owned it and it's in an archive, but if it was borrowed from a designer, or belonged to someone else, it always went back. Even when I borrow something for an important event, I always give everything back because I feel as if it's an honour system."
