Victoria Beckham dresses Mel C for awards show

Victoria Beckham and Melanie Chisholm may not be joining the rest of their Spice Girls groupmates on their 20th anniversary “GEM” reunion tour next year (sob), but that doesn’t mean the twosome isn’t still supporting each other.

On Wednesday evening, Chisholm — better known as Mel C, aka Sporty Spice, aka “the one who could sing” — attended the Stubhub Q Awards show in London wearing a stripy cropped sweater and matching knit midi skirt by none other than pop star turned womenswear designer Beckham.

Though the exact look worn by Chisholm wasn’t shown during Beckham’s fall 2016 runway show in New York this past February, the striped pattern did pop up in a mismatched dress (retail: $2,480).

Chisholm’s VB sweater, made of a virgin-wool blend, retails for $1,535, and a skirt similar to hers (in a different stripe) is available for $1,455 — which is, coincidentally, almost my exact monthly rent!

So, with all evidence considered, it seems safe to say that Posh configured this ensemble exclusively for her old pal Mel.

It’s kinda nice seeing that, even two decades later, some friendships really do never end.
