It’s been two years since Rebecca Judd last set foot on a runway, and six months since she welcomed her sons Tom and Darcy.
But you never would have guessed when the TV presenter-turned-model strode the catwalk at the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival last night, modeling for UK retailer Next.com.au.
After making headlines for showing off an incredible figure shortly after the birth of her twins last September, the 34-year-old’s AFL star husband Chris, son Oscar, five and three-year-old daughter Billie was sitting front row to cheer her on.
However in true mum style, Bec later explained the adorable reason why Billie missed the beginning of her runway debut.
“Hubby and daughter dearest missed the first half of the show because seconds before it started Billie declared she needed to do a wee (as all typical three year olds do),” she wrote on Instagram. “Impeccable timing my love.”
It was the first time Billie had seen her mum on the catwalk – and it might not be the last if Bec has her way.
“I love the feeling of walking in a runway show. There's the music and the crowd, it's exciting,” she told the Herald Sun.
“It's great for the whole family. It's fun to have mine here.”
