Fergie snubbed by the royals again in pre-wedding video

She may be the mother of two of the most well-known princesses in the world but Fergie has been snubbed from Buckingham Palace’s ode to previous royal brides.

In the run-up to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Windsor Castle wedding this Saturday, Buckingham Palace released a video on their Instagram page, which showed all the dressed previous brides have worn on their big day.

The video slicks through images of The Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana.

However, when it comes to the part where Sarah Ferguson should be seen on the royal balcony with Prince Andrew, it appears that the palace decided to cut that out and skip ahead to the Countess of Wessex’s dress.

Royal fans online didn’t miss a beat and immediately started asking where Fergie was in the line-up.

“They’ve missed off Fergie. Her dress was lovely,” one person said.

“I hate to be a trouble maker, but if you include Diana, you should include Fergie,” another commenter said.

Fergie and Prince Andrew famously wed in a lavish ceremony in 1986 but divorced in 1996.

The pair still remain firm friends and still even live together at the Royal Lodge in Windsor.

However, despite her close proximity to the royal wedding, it’s been reported previously that she’s ‘deeply unhappy’ about having to leave the wedding while the rest of the family head on to Frogmore House.

Fergie did however get invited to the May 19th wedding ceremony and the afternoon reception afterwards at St George’s Hall.

It’s been claimed that Prince Harry was adamant his aunt should be at his nuptials, despite his brother, Prince William, leaving her off his guest list entirely when he married Kate Middleton in 2011.
