Tim Robards channels Fifty Shades of Grey on Neighbours

Tim Robards is no stranger to television – after all, he fell in love with Anna Heinrich with the whole of Australia watching on The Bachelor in 2013.

However, he’s now branching into new territories snagging a role on hit Aussie soap Neighbours.

Posting a teaser trailer to his Instagram on Sunday, Tim gave his followers a sneak peek into his role as ‘Mr Pierce Greyson’.

In the snippet – which is giving us serious Fifty Shades of Grey vibes – he meets Chloe Brennan, played by actress April Rose Pengilly, in a bar for a few glasses of champagne and a couple of sultry arm strokes.

Just as the words, “They say money can’t buy love… or can it?” flash up on the screen, Pierce is seen gifting Chloe with a sparkling diamond bracelet.

Earlier this year in a statement released from Network Ten, Tim’s character was described as a wealthy investor who “has more on his mind that just making money in Erinsborough”.

“Pierce Greyson has a number of layers to him, so he is really interesting to play,” Tim explained in a statement.

“He is a hybrid of a Harvey Specter, sprinkle of Christian Grey and little bit of Robert Redford so it’s been great fun to explore.”

We’re sure Mr Greyson will stir up the drama on Ramsay Street.
