Attica, which is run by Kiwi-born chef Ben Shewry, slipped one place on the list this year, but still kept its spot as the number one restaurant in Australia.

The restaurant, which is located in Ripponlea, Victoria, offers up an extended tasting menu for $250 per person which includes DIY Tulips, Emu's Eggs, Cuppa Tea and Bikkies in the Garden and Gazza’s Vegemite Pie.

If you're after matching wines for each course, it's an added $150 per person or $75 per person for a non-alcoholic experience.

Massimo Bottura, head chef and owner of Osteria Francescana, named the number one in the world.
